Terms of Service

The service

LumaSync Cloud provides personal cloud storage: file sync across your devices, automatic gallery backup, offline files, and file sharing.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use the service.

You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google sign-in. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us to create your account.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for everything done under your account. If you lose a device, end its session under Security › Active sessions or sign out everywhere else.
If you forget your password, the sign-in screen can email you a reset link at any time.

Your files remain yours. By storing and sharing them through the service, you grant us only the technical ability to host, sync, thumbnail, back up and transmit them as you direct — nothing more.
You must not store or share anything illegal, anything you have no right to share, malware, or content that abuses the service or other people. We may remove such content and suspend accounts that distribute it.
You can download your files in their original format at any time. Deleting your account removes your account data with it.

The Free plan includes 2 GB of storage. Paid plans with larger quotas, file sizes and transfer speeds may be offered; prices shown in the app include GST and renew automatically until cancelled.
Every tier carries fair-use limits on total storage, maximum file size, uploads per day and operations per hour. These are enforced automatically so one account cannot degrade the service for everyone else.
Deleted items sit in Trash for 30 days and count toward your storage until emptied or purged.

Do not attempt to breach other accounts, circumvent plan or rate limits, resell access to the service, mass-register accounts, or use the service to spam, phish or attack other systems.
Automated access and scraping are not permitted without written permission.
We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service, with or without notice for serious abuse.

We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or loss-free operation — keep independent copies of anything irreplaceable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.
